Today, Charlton occupies a large, brand new factory just outside Dover, giving us one of the most modern bodywork production plants in the UK. As a company, we choose to invest heavily and continually in our facilities, our equipment and our people.
Our staff have the experience, skills and passion for excellence that together result in products of innovative design and unquestioned quality of construction.
Vehicle finishing
As members of the ICI Fleetwatch scheme, Charlton is also a specialist in vehicle finishing. Two new state of the art, low bake paint booths have recently been commissioned, featuring the latest air assisted, airless application technology. At 50 ft. long, each is capable of handling the full range of vehicles from vans to full size trailers.
UK and export
Charlton's location in the Dover port zone gives the company an ideal opportunity to develop export markets both in Europe and beyond. A rising level of business both in France and Germany testifies to the fact that the benefits resulting from our design and production expertise can be common to customers everywhere.
